We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and Apple's App Store terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service except where such restrictions are prohibited by law.
Plant Doctor AI provides AI-generated information about plants, and AI can be wrong. Diagnoses, plant identifications, and treatment plans are generated automatically from your photos and descriptions. They are provided for general informational purposes only and may be inaccurate or incomplete.
Never rely on the app to determine whether a plant is safe to eat, touch, or give to children or animals. Do not use the Service as a substitute for professional horticultural, agricultural, veterinary, or medical advice. For valuable crops or plants, or any situation involving health or safety, consult a qualified professional.
You retain ownership of the photos and notes you submit. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and process that content solely to operate and improve the Service — for example, uploading a photo to our cloud storage and transmitting it to our AI provider to generate your diagnosis. You represent that you have the rights to any content you submit and that it does not violate anyone else's rights.

The Service — including the app, its design, branding, and software — is owned by Virtual Minds or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the license in Section 2 and your rights in your own content, no rights are granted to you. Feedback you send us may be used without restriction or compensation.
The Service depends on third-party providers, including Apple (distribution and billing), Google Firebase (authentication, database, storage), Anthropic (AI analysis), RevenueCat (subscription management), and PostHog (analytics). Their terms govern their services, and we are not responsible for third-party services we do not control. See our Privacy Policy for how data flows to these providers.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT DIAGNOSES OR OTHER OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE, THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT YOUR PLANTS WILL RECOVER. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VIRTUAL MINDS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, PLANTS, OR CROPS, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (US$50). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU; IN THAT CASE OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED.
You may stop using the Service at any time; deleting the app does not automatically cancel an active subscription. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive (including Sections 5, 7, 9, 10, and 13) survive termination.
We may modify or discontinue features at any time. We may also update these Terms; material changes will be announced in the app or on this page, and the effective date above will be updated. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Virtual Minds is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction — except where the law of your country of residence grants you mandatory consumer protections and venue, which remain unaffected. Before filing a claim, please contact us — most concerns can be resolved quickly and informally.
